Seltzer Group’s “FISH Committee” donates to local food bank

The Seltzer Group’s FISH Committee, headed up by Deb Schnerring, has chosen the Jerusalem Church’s food bank on Dock Street in Schuylkill Haven as their charity recipient this month.  Employees at all three offices donated food and other supplies needed at the food bank just in time for the Easter holiday.  In addition, employees donated enough money to purchase a $150 gift card to Giant.

The “FISH” Committee collects money (and sometimes other donations) on dress down Fridays every other week from employees at Seltzer Group.  In the past two years, they have donated over $4,000.00 to various families and charities such as animal rescue, fire victims, food banks, needy families during the holiday season and cancer patients, just to name a few.

The FISH Philosophy is a set of simple, practical tools to help you create the work culture you’ve been looking for.  It’s a way to build stronger relationships both internally and within the community…to have a positive impact, especially during troubled times.
