Success Stories- Returning to Work
A client was unsure about a claim filed by one of their employees, but the claim was accepted by the insurance company. We stepped in to help find a way to reduce the longevity and cost of the claim. After contacting the claimant’s doctor, we were able to develop a back to work program that maintained light duty restrictions. A short time after returning to work part time, this employee voluntarily quit and advised that he no longer needed medical treatment. It was discovered that this employee had a pre-existing condition. The indemnity reserve on this claim was closed and a minimum medical reserve was all that remained open.
