Jon Gerhart is a Safety Consultant for East Coast Risk Management’s office located in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania. Jon earned B.S. degrees in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health and Industrial Manufacturing Technology from Millersville University (MU) in 2004. Jon currently holds the Graduate Safety Professional (GSP) designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

Prior to starting with ECRM, Jon worked for three years in the environmental health and safety group at the consulting firm Spotts, Stevens, and McCoy, Inc., Reading, PA. As an Industrial Health and Safety Specialist, Jon was responsible for developing industrial hygiene sampling plans, field sampling, and final report preparation for clients ranging from heavy steel manufacturing to the pharmaceutical industry. Jon was tasked with developing environmental, safety, and health programs and carrying out the corresponding training for various clients. Mr. Gerhart also performed indoor air quality investigations in schools and commercial buildings in response to reported problems and staff complaints and prepared final written reports with observations, findings, and recommendations. Jon also performed evaluations and provided recommendations for residential/commercial water and/or mold damage.

Currently, with East Coast Risk Management, Jon provides specialized risk management services to a growing client base. Jon has extensive experience in the areas of Industrial Hygiene, OSHA Compliance program development and Training, Respiratory Protection and Fit Testing, Accident Investigation, Machine Guarding, Job Hazard Analysis (JSA), Employee and Supervisor Safety Training and Coaching.
